Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and developed a passion of sprinting while during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished third in the 200 meters during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for an official career at Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. The first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for the 200m race in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she became the world's youngest champion in 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently among the top three athletes in her respective events.
