Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. She has a father named Paul Felix. Paul Felix is an ordained Minister from the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was able to show an early interest in sports as she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the moment. After only 10 weeks after her first race, Felix finished second in the 200 meter race on the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix finished high school signing a professional contract with the sports company Adidas prior to matriculating at the University of Southern California where she studied elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal was at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest world champion of 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 over her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was an avid competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished in the top three of all races.
